Beginning in October 2005, the Collegium will move from a weekly young adult event to a monthly guest speaker and Mass for people of all ages. This exciting new format will allow us to better reach a wider group of people and to offer to all some wonderful speakers. These modifications in the young adult apostolate are temporary and will allow us to focus on renovating and establishing the Center for evangelization in Deptford.

Young adult events will continue as scheduled through September. In October the general focus will be on the fundraising Gala and in November the Monthly Speaker Series will begin. The other big events listed in the newsletter (the Pilgrimage to Rome in March, the Festa Dolce in May, and the Pilgrimage to Lourdes in September) will continue as planned. Once the Center is up and operating, the complete slate of programs will be introduced. For details about the apostolate, please visit the Apostolate page.

During this transition period, there will be opportunities for young adults both to stay connected and to help get the Center off the ground. There will be few formally scheduled events, but there will be many ongoing and one time volunteer projects. When possible, opportunities will be posted on the website or sent via email. You can always contact the Collegium, if you’d like to help out or you’d like an update on the Center’s progress.
